American Self:

Your platform is dead. Today’s image culture is devoid of intimacy, curiosity + slowness. Today’s society exhibits a minimal communal gaze contributing to an incrimental decline of shared visual culture. Most bury their heads in a device. I propose a dialogue in pictures. A photographic ritual built on exchange. I am looking for someone who will want to trade photographs the way others once exchanged letters. Not for commerce, not for critique, but for conversation. It would be a slow correspondence. A visual narrative to be intimate and archival. If you are interested in participating in a future exchange, you are invited to reach out.

I intend to document + curate our exchanges but for now I’d like to see and be seen slowly. In trust and slow tempo let’s become visual pen pals.
